On December 20, 2020, the National Finals of the HKUST Yuexiu Group's 2020 Million Bonus (International) Entrepreneurship Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Million Creation Competition"), sponsored by HKUST and with Guangzhou Yuexiu Group as the chief partner, was successfully concluded in Nansha, Guangzhou, with the theme of "Ten Years of Co creation, Friendly Partnership for the Future".

In this 2020 event, 1826 projects from eight competition areas participated. OSL Haike Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "OSL Haike"), as the runner up of the start-up group in the Yangtze River Delta competition area, advanced to the national semi-final (promotion competition) the previous day (19th), and finally won one of the last two seats in the national top 10 after another road show with the top 20.

The academic jury composed of ten famous professors, such as Li Shiwei, Zheng Guangting, Li Zexiang and Gao Min, was gathered on the scene of the finals, and the partners of ten well-known investment institutions, such as Jinshajiang United Capital, Junlian Capital, Hongtai Capital, IDG, Saifu Investment, Fosun Fortune, Eagle Fund, were also attracted. OSL Haike and other top 10 players staged a million TALK in front of these experts and senior investors. They competed on the same stage to compete for the final prize through a 3-minute project presentation and a 3-minute question and answer.

The competition in the final was fierce and brilliant. OSL Haike fully demonstrated its advanced technology, excellent team members and continuous innovation ability, which was recognized by the judges. He missed the championship by only one light, but he also won the third place in the national finals.

OSL Haike, as a new force on the track of hard technology and new materials, is a hard technology company with advanced anti pollution technology. With nearly 30 years of research and development, this new anti pollution technology has achieved fruitful research results under the support of the National 863 Program, the National Major Special 973 Program and a number of natural science funds. In 2016, this technological achievement was encouraged and affirmed by the state, and was awarded the second prize of the National Natural Science Award. This represents that OSL Haike has a relatively advanced level in the field of marine pollution prevention in China.

Although OSL Haike was highly recognized by the judges of the competition, it won the third place in the Million Creation Competition. Through this competition, the team members' vision and ideas were expanded, and they saw their own advantages as well as the gap and future direction of efforts. In the future, under the entrepreneurial service platform provided by the Million Innovation Contest, the OSL Haike team will make persistent efforts to actively promote the cultivation of innovation awareness, enhance scientific research ability, expand application fields, help marine ecology to develop continuously with high quality, and realize the environmental protection concept of "From the sea, for the sea".
